Why should one continue to pay license plate tax when one's vehicle has been stolen, is severely deteriorated or unused for many years?

The tax payment will not be exempted until the registration for acquisition, transfer or its destruction, stolen of vehicle (motorcycle) is completed. We hope people in similar situations should process cancellation procedures on their own volition.
