While prioritizing epidemic prevention, the joint auction held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3” p.m. also made around NTD 67,420,000

Due to the increasingly severe epidemic of COVID-19, the AEA asked the branches to prioritize the epidemic prevention measures to avoid cluster infections. During the epidemic prevention, all auction of personal properties shall be suspended, in principle, and all real properties shall be auctioned under the method of communication bidding (i.e., on-site bidding shall be suspended).

Except for the Taoyuan Branch and Changhua Branch, the other 11 branches suspended the auction of personal properties. Except for the Taipei Branch that suspended the auction of real properties, the other 12 branches held the auction of real properties with full communication bidding or allowed on-site bidding and communication bidding concurrently. 

All auction and sale venues provided by the branches complied with the “Guidelines for large-scale public gatherings in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak” enacted by the “CECC,” the “Notices related to social distancing” and the latest news announced by the CECC.

The total amount made from the real properties this time was NTD 67,429,465. The highest-bidding price was made from the building and land located at Sec.1, Wenhua Rd., Banqiao Dist., New Taipei City and auctioned by New Taipei branch. The item was bid through “communication bidding” and the amount made from the final bid was NTD 20,289,999. 2 lands located in Longtan District, Taoyuan City and auctioned by Taoyuan Branch. The amount made from the final bid was around NTD 7,420,000. 4 lands located in Houlong Township, Miaoli County and auctioned by the Hsinchu Branch. The amount made from the final bid was around NTD 280,000.

13 pieces of land and 3 buildings located in the West District, North District, Xitun District, Fengyuan District, Taiping District, Shalu District, Shigang District and Qingshui District, Taichung city respectively were auctioned by the Taichung Branch. The amount made from the final bid was around NTD 19,230,000. 1 land located in Yuanlin City, Changhua County and auctioned by Changhua Branch. The amount made from the final bid was around NTD 2,360,000. 11 lands located in East District and North District, Tainan City were auctioned by Tainan Branch. The amount made from the final bid was around NTD 12,420,000. 2 lands and 1 building located in Zhuoxi Township and Jian Township auctioned by Hualien Branch. The amount made from the final bid was around NTD 3,960,000.

There were 20 pieces of land and 2 buildings auctioned by the branches, such as New Taipei Branch, Hsinchu Branch, Chiayi Branch, Tainan Branch, Hualien Branch, etc., with communication biddings. The total amount made from the highest-bidding of them was around NTD 37,600,000.

Thanks for actively participating in the communication bidding. The public on-site venues cooperated and agreed with temperature checking and the wearing of masks. Therefore, the “joint auction held on the “first” “Tuesday” of every month, starting at “3” p.m.” resulted well and created an exceptional result during the epidemic prevention period.
